What does "hemp" actually mean here?
Hemp is Cannabis sativa L. containing no more than 0.3% delta-9 THC on a dry weight basis. That's the legal definition set by the 2018 Farm Bill, and it's what removed hemp and its derivatives from the Controlled Substances Act. Everything on this page meets it. It is the same plant species as marijuana — the threshold is the whole distinction.
Which of these will get me high and which won't?
Won't: all hemp seed products, all CBD and CBG flower, and every wrap and paper. Will: all THCA flower, all infused flower (D8 and HHC), and all pre-rolls and jars. Watch the Bubba Kush listings especially — we carry a CBD version and a Delta-8 version under near-identical names. Read the label before you check out.
Do hemp seeds contain THC?
No. Cannabinoids are produced in the flower's trichomes, not inside the seed. Any trace on commercial seed is surface residue from harvest handling, which is why cleaning standards matter. Hemp seed is a food and feed ingredient, full stop — not an intoxicant and not a CBD product.
Is hemp seed oil the same thing as CBD oil?
No, and this one trips up half the internet. Hemp seed oil is cold-pressed from the seed — culinary and cosmetic, prized for its omega-3 and omega-6 profile, essentially zero cannabinoids. CBD oil is extracted from flower and leaf and sold for cannabinoid content. Different part of the plant, different product, different price.
What's THCA and why does it matter?
THCA is the acidic precursor found naturally in raw hemp flower. It's not intoxicating in its raw form, but heat converts it to delta-9 THC — which happens the second you light it. So THCA flower tests as compliant hemp and behaves as an intoxicating product in use. A growing number of states regulate THCA specifically, some using total-THC math that accounts for conversion. Check your state.
Will any of this fail a drug test?
Yes — and not just the obvious stuff. Compliant hemp carries trace delta-9, and screens can't tell source. THCA, D8, HHC and THCP products are far more likely to trigger a positive. Even heavy hemp seed consumption has produced positives in published studies when the seed was poorly cleaned. Tested at work? Don't gamble on this catalog. No honest seller certifies an outcome.
Can I plant the viable seed?
Only if you're licensed. Growing hemp in the United States requires a USDA-approved or state-issued cultivation licence. Viable seed is sold for lawful agricultural, sprouting, and research use by authorised buyers — confirming your own authorisation is your responsibility, not ours. Toasted and shelled products won't germinate at all.
What does COA-verified actually mean?
A Certificate of Analysis from an independent third-party lab: full cannabinoid breakdown, compliance confirmation, contaminant panel. Not our word — somebody else's. Ask and we'll send the COA for whatever lot you're holding.
How do I store all this without wrecking it?
Flower: airtight glass, cool, dark, away from windows and vents — heat and light strip terpenes faster than anything, and the nose is what you paid for. Seed and oil: sealed and cool, refrigerate hearts and oil after opening since they're high in polyunsaturated fat and go rancid. Whole unshelled seed is the most shelf-stable thing we sell.
